I'm a designer with over 8 years of experience in seeing creative projects through from ideation to full execution. I enjoy the early stages of project definition, exhausting all possible outcomes that stem from given decisions and writing wordy paragraphs such as this one.

I'm currently looking to share what I've acquired across art, design and leadership with others, through workshops and education.

Work Experience

2022–Present

Head of Product | Light-it

Light-it is a software development company dedicated exclusively to the US healthcare industry.

I have worn many hats - starting as a UX/UI designer, then transitioning to a leadership role for the Product Design team.

I am currently building the product department from scratch and establishing a product-thinking culture across the company.

Some things I'm proud of:

Learning to lead a team and working with individual talents so that each team member can grow.
Supporting the entire journey of Trainee designers, who today hold Senior roles in renowned companies.
Adapting to the US work culture and surpassing language and culture barriers.
Leading in-person Product Discovery workshops, which in turn meant improved client relationships and better outcomes.
Growing alongside the company, from startup to over 130 employees and actively participating in the creation and development of new teams.

2019–2023

Consultant | The World Bank

The World Bank is an international financial institution that assists developing countries to reduce poverty and promote sustainable development.

I worked as a communications consultant, managing their internal and regional newsletters.

My main responsibilities included:

Designing and managing a newsletter for Latin America and the Caribbean, overseeing the process from concept to execution.
Redesigning the publication's visual identity for a more modern look.

Due to the contract type, I always handled tight deadlines without compromising the consistency or quality of the newsletters.

2021–2022

Art Director | Mosaic Puzzles

Mosaic Puzzles is a U.S. company specializing in wooden puzzles, known for having unique and whimsical designs.

As art director, my responsibilities included:

Curating the images to be printed on puzzles and managing the licensing involved.
Keep the e-commerce site updated.
Designing cut patters for the puzzle "whimsies".
Overseeing the content of weekly newsletters to increase revenue.

2020–2021

Product Designer | Arion

Arion is a company focused on digital product development and artificial intelligence.

I served as the sole designer responsible for all UX/UI deliverables and brand identity. My responsibilities included creating user flows, wireframes, and prototypes for client projects.

What I'm most proud of:

Designing the company’s first complete brand identity, website, and marketing materials.
Building and maintaining a COVID test scheduling app, which served thousands of users during the pandemic.
Expanding beyond traditional design responsibilities to ensure products stayed operational during a demanding period.
Self-learning new technical skills on the fly to meet urgent lab and patient needs.

2017–2020

Graphic Designer | MVDConsulting

MVD Consulting is a consulting firm that helps technology companies during globalization operations.

This was my first formal experience as a designer, during which I developed content for social media, pitch decks, and physical and digital marketing materials. Additionally, I redesigned and maintained their website.
